[The Pokégear clicks on with a shot of Riku standing on the edge of Goldenrod City, close to Route 34. Behind him, his Riolu's tapping her foot and crossing her arms. She looks over at Riku with a groan.]

[Sighing, Riku turns his attention to his Riolu for a split second.]
Yeah, I know. Just give me a second, Ace.
[Turning his attention back to the camera, Riku's completely silent for a split second. Then, he brushes back some of his hair and starts speaking again.]
Alright. I should've said this ages ago, but for those who don't know yet, there's someone here who looks and sounds just like me. The thing is, he's not me-- at least, not exactly. He used to be made of data before he showed up here; I don't know the whole story yet, but no matter how you look at it, we're two different people.
Best way to tell us apart is by our clothes; he usually wears a black cloak. I don't. He's also got different Pokémon, if that helps.
[Somehow, he's doubting this'll make much sense, so he might as well cut it off.]
Anyway, sorry I didn't mention this sooner. Hopefully it'll clear things up.
[See? How hard was that? Ace smirks and heaves a sigh of relief. However, right as she prepares to approach her trainer, her whole body's enveloped by a strange glow as a familiar theme starts to play. Right away, Riku turns his attention to Ace, watching the spectacle unfold.
Seconds pass, and then the light fades, revealing a newly evolved Lucario. Suffice it to say, Riku looks thoroughly impressed by this point.]
So you finally evolved... Not too shabby.
[And Ace, also pleased by her new form, grins. After that, the feed ends.]
