PGC filer;
Lightning and Hope are gone, which leaves us without leaders. That also cuts our numbers down to ten.
So, my question for your guys is "what next?" I don't think we should disband; just a quick look at the network will show that goons like Cobra are still at large. Still, we're gonna need some structural changes. New leaders, possibly new squads, and, more importantly, new members.
I guess I just want to know what you think. I don't know every one of you personally, but the PGC is supposed to be a team, so everyone should have a chance at giving feedback. I think if we sort out our strengths and weaknesses, that could help us with restructuring. It might be better to have multiple leaders so that if anyone disappears, there's people to fall back on. Maybe each squad can have one, beats me.
I'm gonna throw up an anonymous message in a sec to see about gathering newbies, though. If you've got friends you'd like to recommend, might as well bring them up now.
[Shortly after the PGC message pops up, a second message appears:]
Anonymous;
What does this world mean to you? Do you think it's something worth protecting, or would you rather sit on the sidelines and watch it burn? This place is more than sunshine and Pokémon battles. If given the choice to make a difference, would you take it?
[He remembers Lightning doing something like this before. He'll just have to keep his fingers crossed that it works.]

Chyeah, you're tellin' me. Kinda makes me think that anybody around here could be a cop if they pulled on a miniskirt and dyed their hair the right color.
[Seriously, is it just him or do the cops here all look more or less the same? Talk about creepy. Anyway, Yusuke might be cracking a (rather snide) joke about how useless the police here are, but that doesn't change the fact that their uselessness actually really, really ticks him off. There's nothing worse than people in positions of power who don't use that power the way they ought to - in fact, that's exactly the type of person Yusuke generally tries not to be in his Spirit Detective work, not because he's trying to be some kind of hot-shot hero, but because it'd be shitty for him to act in any other way. After all, back where he's from, there is no "no death clause". If he fucks up, people could die - including the people he cares about most.
So yeah, even if the fact that nobody can die here makes the stakes a little less high in this world than they are back in his own, he can get behind the idea of the PGC doing the job the police aren't doing based on the fact that less people will get hurt as a result - hell, that actually piques his interest even more. Have a few more points in your favor for being one of the folks behind that kind of operation, Riku.]
Does the PGC operate out of one place, or are your, uh, troops spread out?
[The latter would make more sense to him, given how much ground they'd have to cover to be at all effective, but he figures he'd ask anyway.]
[video/filtered]
[The only feasible option he can think of is cloning, which brings his mind to all sorts of eerie places. Are there some crazy scientists secretly producing pod people? Has anyone made a movie about the Joys and Jennies in that light? If not, they seriously should; their existence lends itself to some hammy possibilities.
But they aren't here to chat about conspiracy theories. Yusuke asked about the operation... Well, he can hardly say they operate in one place when even their own squads don't stick together these days. It's felt more and more like the squads were sorted at random without insight from the members. With Lightning gone, he can only guess.
So, he'll go with what he knows.]
We're all spread out right now, and I think that's the way it'll stay outside of meetings. Our best bet's to cover as much ground as possible, that way if the Rockets act up, we can be one of the first lines of defense.
[video/filtered]
All right. Sounds sensible.
[Yusuke pauses to think. Then he decides, and forges on ahead, straightening his shoulders and lifting his chin and giving Riku a long, level look.]
One last question: how d'you join this thing? Like, what, do I gotta pee in a cup and send you a resume or something, or can I just say I'm interested and let you give me some kinda speech?
[video/filtered]
[Riku's face scrunches up at the idea. No, that won't be necessary, and he waves the idea off straight away.]
Nah, you don't have to do anything that humiliating. A list of skills would be a good start, and depending on where you're at, I could try meeting up with you to discuss everything in more detail. Gonna have to hit up all the other potentials, so I might as well kill two birds with one stone.
[Besides, he's not the one who comes up with the sappy speeches; that's Sora's job. He'll just have to make a mental note to bug him about that later.]
[video/filtered]
[Well, that's easy enough. Yusuke smirks.]
Well, for one thing, I'm good at fighting. I've practically got combat experience comin' out of my ass. My job back home puts me in a lot of dangerous situations, most of 'em involving demons, so I doubt there's anything Team Rocket could throw at me that'll scare me. Hell, a couple hours before I got here, I was getting chased around by a fuckin' semi-truck. You don't know exciting 'til you've got that on your tail. I'm pretty sure I woulda bit it if a buddy of mine hadn't saved my ass in time.
[Him and vehicles, man. Seriously, he has the worst luck when it comes to vehicles.]
