[The feed begins with a series of snapshots. It starts with images of a war-torn battlefield lined with giant crystals, Team Aqua and Magma grunts and hordes of Pokémon and trainers alike.]

This world isn't safe.

[The images shift. New snapshots appear of Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon, taken from a safe distance above, but distinct in that they are indeed giant, glowing monsters.]

What happened last week is proof of that. You may all be content to enjoy a carefree lifestyle, but if it weren't for divine intervention, life as we know it would have ended with a whimper.

Together, we were able to hold off Team Aqua and Magma's forces, but the battle doesn't end there. If you could make a difference in the protection of this world, would you do it?

[The message ends there. About a half hour later, another text appears on the network, this time from a non-anonymous source.]

So, I think we all learned something valuable from that mess down at Tohjo: Don't summon giant lizards and whales to start the apocalypse. God doesn't like it.

There's a lot I could say. It was a busy few days, but if you look past all the legendaries, the explosions, and those cornball teams, there are two things that stick out to me: the weird power up some of our Pokémon got and the Pokémon god himself.

[Case in point? Here's an image of a Mega Sharpedo getting punched in the nose by a Mega Charizard X.]

So, what do you guys think that power was? Did any of you get a straight answer from Arceus? And how about that fairy type?

Nope. Everyone's pretty tight-lipped when it comes to the Elite Four in general.

I just don't get it. These people seem more than happy to just sit around and twiddle their thumbs while everything goes up in smoke.

They aren't all I use, but I have a lot of them.

But it can't be too hard. I've seen Pokémon learn how to speak, so anything's possible with enough work.

Then again, Altaria feathers do tend to stick. Makes me glad that Jo isn't much of a cuddler, otherwise I'd probably end up looking like a living snowman.

I can only assume the Elite 4 is trying to do something about us being brought here... but maybe that's wishful thinking on my end.

I'm expecting some great frustration at the Blackthorn Gym in a few weeks. That, and perhaps a link with mystical powers such as crystals.

[Edges nods to that. Yeah, Crystal might be super quiet but it's all pretty and sparkly, like an evolution stone!]

Oh man. I bet Clair's gonna freak when she finds out. She's already got a big enough ego as it is...

But I could see those rock guys being fairies. They did seem to take dragon hits pretty well. Same goes for the keyrings.

Just don't get too cocky. Experience has taught me that it's easier to flub when you let your confidence get outta control.

Young and perky? Then it's gotta be her. She seems pretty trustworthy. Maybe a little too confident, but there's definitely a lot of enthusiasm.

I've been using text, but we have met before. Still, if you want to meet with her in the flesh, that'd be great. I'm gonna be on the move while I meet with the other newbies, so I'd definitely appreciate the extra hand.

Oh boy. Well, maybe she'd be able to give him a few pointers.

Something without excess pockets would be a good place to start.

At this rate, that really wouldn't surprise me.

That, or they think they're above getting their hands dirty. Maybe I'll ask them next time the prom rolls around. Could help explain a few things.

Generally speaking, we try to keep tabs on suspicious activity and intercept any threats. Because the Rockets tend to keep a low profile between attacks, that means it may be months before we get a serious call to action. During that time, it's all about networking.

For those of us spread out across the region, it could be simple as keeping an eye on the surrounding cities in case something shady pops up. We sort members into squads for field missions, but members are by no means required to stick with their squadmates during off time.

We also try to go for squads based on personalities and skill sets. If a travel group is already in the Corps, we'll usually make them into a squad.

I got one of every type, and from cute to scary. Then again, I don't use my cuter Pokemon in battle as much as my better fighters.

But it's fun to see Asterisk (Clefairy) wrecking someone up when she get the chance.

Sometimes, but usually not anything thick like ranch. I'm more of a vinaigrette kinda guy. The tangyness tends to give the sandwich a bit more of a punch.

I see... My traveling companion and myself are trying to travel around Johto, so we aren't settled down anywhere right now. We're hitting up the gyms.

Exactly! So you get where I'm coming from, right? I mean, don't get me wrong, it was pretty badass seeing Puu with all that power, but with the way the little bastard's always getting in my face and shedding everywhere, I probably would've spent the rest of my life looking like that thing from the Ghostbusters movies.

I gotta admit, though, if Puu'd looked as cool as your Pokemon did when he transformed, I might actually be mad that the change wasn't permanent. What is he, a Charizard?

I do hope her next challengers will be thoughtful enough to commit their victory to video for everyone's enjoyment.

I wonder if every Fairy-type species is so small? Not that I expect any to be as large as Steelix or Wailord, but still...
