Are they? I've noticed a lot of them have... reputations, according to the Pokedex. I could be wrong, though.

They're a bit... direct for my taste. I prefer my battles to be more strategic. Battles at home tended to be less firepower and more exploiting weaknesses, so the same sort of philosophy carries over.
