I'm sure they can, but runnin'em into the ground? Isn't gonna get'em there; it's gonna do about th'opposite. Even a machine needs maintenance, an' recoverin' from injuries an' illnesses weakens a creature - makes it take longer for'em to get stronger, if not doin' permanent damage so they can't even do what they used t'be able to do. I've seen it happen with people, an' seein' as how they can get scars an'all? I don't doubt it can happen with them. []

Nevermind that if they start resentin' you, then they're gonna stop listening, an' might take a chance t'turn on you or leave you in th'lurch when you need'em.
