[So, Riku was minding his own business, just embracing the happy feelings, fighting some Pokémon, and then he encountered a Gardevoir. And that Gardevoir happened to be a bit of a troll... So, when the feed begins, there's a lovely shot of Riku falling face-flat on the ground... somewhere in the Breeding Center? Odd.

Oh, and it looks like Xion's close by.]

--huh?

[ Is Xion's small response to the sudden appearance of her friend falling on his face, followed by a roar that could only come from her Garchomp, Bahamut. Xion's posture is kneeling, pausing to reach out for the strange egg she found beside her when she woke up. She blinks, fully turning her head, her right eye covered behind a patch as she stares in confusion. ]

Riku? What are you... [ She straightens and quickly goes to try and help Riku up. ]

[And Riku smiles... a bit wider than usual. He seems extremely happy to see her for some reason, and once he's back on his feet...]

Hey, thanks.

[Still... smiling. There's a sound of creepy white noise mixed with cackling that can only be described as the stuff of nightmares as Phantom focuses the camera in on both Riku and Xion. This is the perfect chance for comedy gold.]

[ Xion smiles back, if touched with a little confusion and curiosity at the way he's just... smiling. ]

Aha... are you okay, Riku? How'd you even get here like... this... whatever "this" is.

[Riku shrugs. Really, he was just minding his own business, and then...]

Probably one of the Pokémon. Thought about catching it, but then I wound up here.

[Hmm, okay. So the targets are in place... Have more eerie cackling, followed by some weird... slobbery sounds, as Phantom pulls out some treats from his enormous mouth. C'mere, little Garchomp.]

[ Grar! Bahamut opens his mouth in surprise at the treats! Oh, oh, he wants some! Xion merely glances to see what he's on about, but shakes her head and turns back to Riku. ]

You mean the Pokemon that have been appearing around and out of towns? You're not hurt, are you? [ She steps closer, but retakes it as Bahamut zooms past to get at those treats! ]

Nah, don't worry about it. I'm just--

[He takes a step over to her, but his foot collides with Bahamut's tail, sending him flying straight at Xion. Oh yes. This... is... perfect. Phantom's barely holding back his laughter now.]

Mm?!

[ Bliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiink. Blink. Blink. Riku's face is really close. Well. Ah, it's sort of on her, and their lips...

At the very least, now she knows what this is. But she hasn't pulled away. She's just sort of... shocked. Surprised. And maybe a little... well, there's something going on in her chest, hammering loudly in her ears and speeding up with each passing second this goes on.

Meanwhile...

Gobble gobble goes Bahamut on the treats. ]

[Yeah, and Riku... doesn't pull away either. Part of it's because of the giddy feelings clouding his perception a bit, but it's also kind of... nice. Nope, nothing awkward going on here. But after a few moments he'll pull back and smile almost sheepishly. Oh, and then he laughs.]

My bad. Sorry about that, Xion.

[ Xion quickly shakes her head. Her cheeks are warm, and she doesn't know she might be blushing a very bright red. ]

No! No, it's fine... It was... an accident. I mean, I guess it makes up for the last time we did that, huh?

[And then the feed ends! Click.]

[Later on, Riku can be found around Goldenrod, but he'll be getting warped back by that same Trolldevoir later. Somewhere in between he'll also be in Saffron. Fun!]

[ After recovering from the odd... instance earlier, Xion goes back and picks up the mysterious egg she woke up to. ]

So... you're really okay, Riku? [ Other than being... well, it wouldn't really be odd, per se, but she really hasn't seen Riku like this before. ]

Yeah, don't sweat it.

[La de da. He might be... following her.]

Really, it's no big deal.

[ She nods eagerly, then. If he says to not mind it... at the very least, he wasn't flustering like their previous instance had. At least she's knowledgeable about it more! ]

If you say so... Ah! Sorry about Bahamut. I don't know why he'd just rush off like that.

[ Indeed, Bahamut's just chewing on some treats she doesn't know where he got. ]

[ TORN BETWEEN LAUGHTER AND DESPAIR. ]

[He looks over at Phantom, who twiddles his thumbs innocently. What?]

I think this was a set-up.

[SMILING. Oh yes, we so happy.]

[ A small gasp! And light frowning. ]

Really, that Phantom... [ Is he hiding the Gear? Still blissfully unaware they were recorded. ] He's really up to something.

[ Still torn. At least she's been affected by the good mood as well? Her voice is calm, like she's just asking about how his day was. ]

What the hell was that?

[He points at himself and tilts his... head? Body? Whatever. Really, Xion? You think someone like him would cause trouble? GASP.

... Riku shakes his head and... steps a wee bit closer to Xion.]

Who knows? He's a prankster, after all.

Ah, Fang! [ Small wave. ]

[He shrugs.]

Bahamut tripped me. At least neither of us got hurt.

That'd explain Bahamut... but would that really be it?

[ Nope, still skeptical. Hey, sometimes she has a right to be cautiously curious. ]

[... Man, you're dense, Xion. Phantom heaves a silent sigh, and then he makes kissy faces. You know, just to troll.

... And Riku raises a brow.]

... Right.

[ Frowns a bit more at the display, but just gauges it's Phantom being Phantom and trying to rattle them. Then she notices how Riku's a tad bit closer than she realized. ]

I guess it's just him... And maybe he feels a bit weird, too. [ Maybe they're all feeling weird! ]

[Now he's making hearts with his hands. Trololololo~

Riku rolls his eyes and idly props a hand on her shoulder. He hasn't really realized this yet.]

I don't know. Seems pretty normal to me.

[ Xion notices, of course. His hand is large and warm on her shoulder, and she briefly glances up at him before turning back to Phantom being a troll. ]

Haha, yeah. Oh, look! I found this egg- [ She holds up said Deino egg. ] -beside me. Do you know what Pokemon it is?

[Oh wow. Looks... a lot like the one he got.]

Can't say I do, but I got an egg just like it.

[Talk about ironic. In fact... Phantom's gonna pull that egg out of his mouth.

Okay, weird. Really, Phantom.]

... I really don't want to know how that got there.

[ Really? Really? ]
