I know now's probably not the right time given what's going down in Goldenrod, but there's a few things I want to cover real quick.
First, welcome to any newcomers. This place can be a real handful, so hopefully you're settling in without too much trouble. To help you guys out, I've got something that'll make your life a whole lot easier.
Training for Dummies
That's right. I went ahead and updated my guide from a few months back. The update includes an overview of all sixteen gym leaders and my own personal tips after going through them all. Also includes a much-needed overhaul to the evolution section, confirmation that, no, the Elite Four and Gym Leaders can't send us home, and other small tweaks.
If you're new or just want a refresher on this place, go ahead and check it out here.
With that out of the way, I'm planning on opening up a Training Center pretty soon. To sum it all up... basically, it'll be a place where trainers can go to level their teams, hone their skills as trainers, and provide their Pokémon with a place to work out, and that's just the beginning. With luck, I'd like to expand it so that the place can double as a temporary spot for Pokémon to stay and get private training. Once it opens, you'll be able to find it in Celadon City. If anyone's interested in helping set up or maybe getting a position once it opens, just let me know, and we can work something out.
I'm also looking to put some of my Pokémon up for rent, that way you won't necessarily have to swing by Celadon to get some easy experience. The service is going to be expensive, and don't think you'll be able to use them for gym battles-- at most, they'll make for good sparring partners, help with transportation and heavy lifting, and maybe breeding. I'll have more info once the place opens. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
That's it for now, but before I call it day, here's a question for you guys: How do you feel about feeding Pokémon eggs to other Pokémon? Especially when it's a major part of their diet, like with Sneasel and Weavile.
[With that out of the way, Riku closes his 'Gear and proceeds to wander around Cherrygrove for a while. He'll be spending a lot of time near the beach alongside his oversized Charizard as well as his Serperior, Zoroark, Treecko, Sandile, and Luxio. None of these guys are in their balls, so they'll probably stand out a fair bit.
When they're not lazing by the beach, they can be found sparring with one another. From time to time, Riku will even hop up on Flare's back and soar around town. Want to bump into him? He'll be just about anywhere.]

As for the diet thing: yeah why not.
If it's an essential part of their diet, then that's what they eat.
I get tired of this moral 8ullshit people throw everywhere all the time!
Sometimes you have to do wh8t you have to do!
If that's feeding Pokémon eggs to other Pokemon then so 8e it!
It happens anyway in the wild!
This place is tamety tame compared to where I'm from.
Text;
Ugh, I get sick and tired of people geting all worked over morals here, too. Train Pokémon too hard? That's cruel! Punch them if they try and maul you? Poor Pokémon!
It's ridiculous. People act like Pokémon can do no wrong and that anything remotely harmful to them is an unspeakable evil.
Text;
Tell me a8out it!
It's fucking ridiculous!
We're supposed to catch and train them and all that!
They don't get strong if you're not tough with them, at least in my experience.

D--> Might I inquire as to where I might obtain one of the Fighting Pokebeasts

As for Fighting types, you can snag a few over at the Breeding Center. Tyrogue, Riolu, and Timburr are all good picks.

That's a nice, handy guide you have there. Can you hand that out to anyone who gets dropped in New Bark or something? Because those initial guides...
[Stumbles off at the question about eggs.]
...how are we supposed to feel about egg eating?!
[audio]
[He usually hangs in Kanto, so it's not the most practical method.]
As for egg-eating... it's pretty natural for most Pokémon.

[Not that she's going to listen to a good chunk of it, because she's going to use whatever pokemon she wants to use, thank you very much. However, the tips on the different gyms are invaluable as far as she's concerned.]
I'm not sure if I could ever choose to feed an egg to a pokemon, not when there are other things I could feed them instead.

[Riku's got ridiculously high standards for Pokémon, being a strategist. Cuteness alone won't cut it for his team, but he knows not everyone's gonna follow it to a T.]
Even if they want to eat them? I guess I just don't see the problem with letting them follow their natural diet.
