Like others of his type, he enjoys a good scare, but he's much more laid back than Phantom, preferring to bide his time rather than hassle the others around him. This has earned him a bit of respect among the more irritable Pokémon like Highwind, Quake, and Toxin, but make no mistake. He's still a prankster at heart-- he just knows the art of subtlety.
In battles, he cleverly taunts his opponents in order to set them off and then, when their rage gets the best of them, he'll swoop in and overwhelm them with poison and confusion before laying the final blow. He appreciates Riku's subtle battle style and the freedom he's given by not having to worry about vocal commands. ...Plus, Riku's life energy is delicious, anyhow.
