[Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but this bed is so delightful...
The feed clicks on with a closeup of a Weavile. A Weavile who smirks, waves at the camera with his claws and then clears his throat. What happens next is more than a little... strange, for the sounds he makes are a bit more articulate than his standard 'nyaaaaans'...]
Nyaaaarro, Nyoootyoo. Nyis nyyyyearter nis ch... ch... nyeh...
[He pauses, narrows his eyes, and huffs.]
Chuuunyiiite stryanye. Nyanter styorms. Teyru... chuunyite nyaruvery, nyant nyey?
[Another huff. Curse him for not being able to get the right syllables yet. At this rate, Ace will master human speech before him! Still, he must preserver. ]
Nyuh fuyuasheee rihts. Syo nyu... ch... vuuu... ck. Nyo. Nit's... Buuyiite... nyan... Buuuyuuutiivur.
[He makes a soft 'hmph' and then adds an abrupt text message.]
Just you wait, world! I will capture the beauty of human speech yet! It simply needs more... refining.
[Slash will remain with the 'Gear for about an hour and likely try holding 'conversations' with anyone who responds. Eventually, however, Riku will return to the room, sopping wet, and swipe the 'Gear from his claws.]
Sheesh, what've you gotten yourself into this time, Slash?
[And with that, he'll shut off the feed.
Those in the hotel may find Riku slipping out of his room from time to time to chill in the lobby and watch the stormy weather outside. For the most part, however, he's avoiding going out. His roommates may in fact find him pulling the curtains down over the windows. Seems someone's unhappy about the storm.]
