Training Center WIP Floor Plan

This is just a rough idea of the Training Center's layout. Information is subject to change.

All Floors:

- Restrooms
- Vending machines
- chairs and benches in the halls.
- Elevators
- Stairs

Basement:

Long, winding tunnels lit by torches lead visitors into a vast arena specifically designed for large Pokémon. One could easily do a double battle with Steelixes or Wailords and still have room to breathe. Rest assured, the chambers here have been perfectly secured to ensure the safety of trainers and Pokémon.

The arena itself is designed to resemble a dreary cave and is where Leviathan the Steelix generally sleeps.

Base Floor:

Lobby: Contains a front desk usually manned by Psych the Alakazam or Knight the Gardevoir along with any other workers assigned to aid customers. There are seats and a small table provided with some stacks of magazines to keep visitors busy until they can be helped. Vending machines with lemonade, fresh water, and soda line the wall. There is also a PC, should trainers need to shuffle their parties.

Aquatic Area: Contains an enormous pool that's both wide and deep, designed for even beastly water types like Wailord to swim comfortably and still leave room for others. Picture something like this for a general gist of the setup here.

This area doubles not only as a comfortable habitat for Riku's water types but also one of the possible arenas in the TC.

Forested Zone: This area is designed specifically for grass and bug types as well as any other Pokémon from forested habitats. It contains several small trees, bushes, and other plantlife to give it an organic feeling. Windows near the ceiling let in natural light during the day, allowing the Pokémon to soak in some natural rays when the weather permits. This area contains another possible arena.

Rocky Terrain: This room is set up to resemble a mountainous region complete with pebbles, little stones, jagged rocks, and maybe the occasional boulder. Oh, and lots of dirt. Compared to other rooms, this one maintains a hotter temperature and a dryer climate.

Play Area: Contains ball pits, slides, countless toys, and climbing areas for younger Pokémon to explore. Picture a play area at a place like Chuck E. Cheese's to get a rough idea of the layout. This place is designed less for hardcore fighting and more for recreation and exercise, though there is a small area in the center of the room for battling, restricted to smaller Pokémon. Think Little Cup standards in Pokémon Stadium 2.

Security Room: Only staff are allowed inside. This room contains monitors that showcase all the halls and other rooms in the building as well as a few cameras outside the premises. Should an intrusion occur, a squad of level 100's will be dispatched immediately.

Lockdown Chamber: This is the chamber where Terror is kept. Only staff experienced with violent Pokémon are granted access because Terror will attack strangers without provocation. It's highly recommended that staff enters with at least one other Pokémon of sufficient level to ensure that no harm befalls them.

The floor is designed with a rocky texture, much like the Rocky Terrain area. Scattered bones litter the room. Fragments of egg shells gather in corners. The room contains little else, save for a perch built towards the very top of the high ceiling that holds a nest made out of branches and brambles.

Under normal circumstances, Terror is kept on a long chain to ensure that she cannot escape the room. It's lose enough to allow her some freedom, but she is never to leave the room unsupervised; she'd go on a rampage otherwise.

Kitchen: All food is prepared in here. Only staff are permitted inside. There is a refrigerator and freezer, an oven, and standard kitchen fare. The fridge and freezer contain huge stashes of meet, as most of Riku's Pokémon are carnivores.

Residential Hall: Off-limits to visitors. This is a small cluster of six rooms designated for staff and personal guests who'd rather not deal with the stairs or elevator. Each room is fashioned like an apartment.

Offices: Staff offices can be found both here and on the second floor.

---

Floor 2:

Ice Type Area: This floor is by far the coldest in the building, designed to provide comfort for ice type Pokémon. Icicles line the ceiling. The very center of the floor is slick, just like the Ice Path or Pryce's gym. There are clusters of snow off to the sides, making the place resemble an indoor, winter Wonderland. Not only is the rink great for battles, but it may be used for other purposes in the future, such as ice skating. Just be sure to bring a sweater, or you might get a little sick.

Empty Room 1: This room is largely empty. In time, Riku aims to set it up with neon lights and some loud speakers and give it a dance floor theme. For the time being, it's being used as a quiet place for his Pokémon to get away from the hubbub of the Center.

Standard Gymnasim: This room is set up like a traditional gymnasium with a high ceiling and bleachers. Good for battles without a set type advantage.

Safety Arena: This is the specialty arena designed for battling more unruly Pokémon. Trainers are led up onto a balcony that wraps around the walls of the room. Spectators are recommended to join trainers on the balcony, as it's long enough to fit a small crowd.

Workout room: Contains weights, treadmills, punching bags, and other tools to train both yourself and your Pokémon.

Empty Room 2: Riku intends to fashion this place into a fire-themed arena complete with sizzling temperatures. However, he's yet to begin the procedures due to lack of fire type Pokémon. For now, this room acts as another quiet area.

Dojo: Fashioned like a traditional fighting Dojo, this is another simplistic arena available to visitors.

Bird's Nest: This is an area specifically designed for flying types to comfortably explore. Loops dangle from the ceiling. Cliff-like structures just from the wall, and crisscorssing beams reach from one wall to the next. This room doubles as an arena as well as a resting area for Riku's fliers. Highwind the Pidgeot, Gear the Skarmory, and others are often seen perched high above the floor.

Offices: Another set of offices can be found on this floor.

Floor 3:

This floor is currently undergoing construction and is off-limits to visitors. All rooms are empty and have high ceilings. Many of them will likely be fashioned into arenas and training zones later on.

--

Floor 4:

Off-limits to visitors. Riku plans to fashion this floor into an obstacle course for Pokémon to hone in their natural skills. It will feature varying terrain and challenges along the way. However, because this will take a lot of preparation and maintenance, production of the obstacle course will not begin until the business gains more support and funds.

---

Floor 5:

This is a residential floor, offering a number of rooms for staff and Pokémon alike. Unlike the other floors, this area is fashioned less like a business and more like an apartment complex. A couple of chairs and benches line the halls, and each room contains at least one or two beds. Larger rooms can fit three or more people.

Note that these rooms are specifically exclusive to those staying at the Center. Visitors are advised not to disturb those who make the Center their home and continue on to the next floors.

Floor 6:

Another residential floor. Same rules and setup apply.

--

Floor 7:

Another residential floor.

--

Floor 8:

Floor is under construction and off limits to visitors. Many of the rooms are used as storage facilities. There is also a meeting room for staff containing a long table and a whiteboard to help brainstorm ideas.

Floor 9:

Floor is under construction and off limits to visitors.

Floor 10:

Floor is under construction and off limits to visitors.

--

Floor 11:

This floor contains an empty, old ball room. Riku has yet to do much with it, but he may set it up for special events later on. Currently, it's full of dust.

--

Roof:

The roof is fashioned into another arena with benches off to the side. If you've got a flying type and want more freedom in fighting, this is the perfect place to put them to the test. Otherwise, the view's fantastic at night for stargazing.

--

Out back:

There is a large outdoor enclosure designed to give Pokémon more freedom to battle and explore. There's a small pond in the very center and various flowers, bushes, and trees scattered throughout the area. A tunnel leading into the underground arena is left open during the day. Unlike the indoor arenas, this area isn't completely developed yet, but the grass has been trimmed well enough to deter wild Pokémon from making it their home.

Additionally, there are a few benches and picnic tables available for visitors.
