39 - video/text/action for Celadon;
[The feed opens with Riku standing at the foot of the Training Center with a pile of pumpkins in the background. A Skarmory and Pidgeot fly overhead, carrying what appears to be a great big ribbon that reads "GRAND OPENING". His trusty Charizard, Flare, leans against the frame of the door while his Nidoking, Slacker, paces back and forth with... a rose in his mouth.
Grinning, Riku glances at the other Pokémon before addressing the feed. At first he doesn't even notice the music playing behind him.]
All right. I think I've held back long enough. Now that we're back from our Cinnabar trip, the Training Center's going to be opening up shop. And as part of the celebration, Kairi and I are planning on throwing a Halloween party for anyone in Kanto. After all, everything seems to happen in Johto these days, and that's a pretty huge drag for those of us who--
[Before Riku can even finish, flames spew into his face. Flare's eyes widen. The birds drop the banner, and Slacker panics, splashing Riku with a great big tidal wave. The camera rattles to the ground revealing one bruised Charmeleon, sopping with her face contorted into one nasty snarl.
There's an audible gasp offscreen.]
No way! You... you're a fire type! How did you--
[Rrrraaargh! The Charmeleon rakes her claws and lunges forward. The camera lifts up off of the ground, probably via one of Riku's ghosts, given the eerie static cackling. Gritting his teeth, Riku dashes for the fire lizard with his wooden Keyblade in hand, attempting to nail her in the gut, but she leaps over his head, kicks him in the back and lands just a few feet from Flare, spewing flames at his belly.]
[Rolling his eyes, Flare swerves out of her path, beating his wings until he's about two yards above the ground. Grumbling, the Charmeleon leaps up at him, but he swerves out of her path each time. Slacker, Highwind, and Jo all look up to Flare. A Flamethrower attack shoots straight at the three of them, nailing Highwind right in his luxurious plumes.
Screeching, he flails his wings and hovers in circles, trying to shake off the heat. Slacker, in an attempt to help, rides another wave right over the unfortunate Pidgeot. Rather than ease his mood, the attack prompts Highwind to start pecking at Slacker right away, while Gear runs circles around the two of them in an attempt to escape the flames.
Glaring, Riku stomps right below Flare.]
Okay, seriously. What is your problem?
[The Charmeleon hisses, pointing her claw up at Flare and beating her chest. Shaking his head, Flare flies higher and higher. The camera turns to show him perched on the very top of the Training Center. Back to the Charmeleon, who launches flames all around the area bares her teeth. Riku swerves between her attacks this time and eyes the cameramon, snapping his fingers.
There's another eerie cackle. Waves of Hypnosis fly towards the Charmeleon, but she slips behind Slacker, who takes the full blast. Suddenly, there's a sleeping Nidoking lying on the floor. Gear bursts into what can only be described as the most ear-splitting laughter. After all, he sounds like this. Puffing out his chest, Highwind slaps Gear with one of his wings and dashes forward, talons aimed at the pesky lizard...
Only for her to hop onto his back and tug on his plumes, steering him up towards the rooftop.
Yep.
She manages to pull the bird up to about the fifth floor, too, before Highwind jerks free, sending her plummeting towards the ground...
Or so it seems.
In what can only be described as an intense feat of acrobatics, the Charmeleon throws herself near a passing Pidove, using it as a stepping stone. Then another. And another!]
...Sheesh. You know what, guys? Don't do anything. Let's just see how this plays out.
[As the feed draws to an end, the camera turns towards that pesky Charmeleon, still bouncing from bird to bird.]
[As the Charmeleon madness continues, passers by are free to spectate at this crazy lizard and her attempts to reach the roof. And spew fire at everything that agitates her. Needless to say, she is going to keep at it for a good while.
While Riku watches, he'll slap up a text message via the network.]
Ugh. Sorry about that interruption. I'm still sorting it out, but... Seriously, is anyone game for a party in Celadon? We've got a few ideas already, like a battle tournament and some kind of dance. Hopefully by the time Halloween rolls around, this little pest problem won't be an issue, anyway.
[Just... ugh. Please let this issue get resolved as soon as possible. Darn fire lizards.]

[WHAM!
Yeah. She just... fell again. Grumbling, she wobbles back to her feet and springs onto Gear's head.
...And he immediately starts squawking like crazy. At least until she leaps off of him latches onto a light pole. She's done this a few times already.]
...Yeah, I think that speaks for itself.
Pretty much. You may want to catch her just to put the rest of your team out of their misery.
[Because if she got to them all the way from Cinnabar, she's definitely not giving up. Sticking her into the PC may be his only option for relative peace and quiet.]
[Provided she doesn't keep performing ridiculous acrobatics.]
[Granted that's probably because of the acrobatics and not because of a lack of trying, but still.]
Guh.]
Guess I could send Glow out as a sponge. If we can't land a hit, we can at least try and wear her down.
[But, on the other hand, it'd be interesting to see what she'd do against Flare. Scratch his belly?
It probably help to take the situation more seriously.]
You'll probably be at it for a while. Wouldn't hurt to get an early start if that's what you're planning on doing.
[Yeah, putting a little seriousness into this wouldn't be a bad idea, even if all she could do to Flare is give him a belly rub.]
Well, it helps that Glow's a ghost that absorbs all fire attacks. All she'd be doing is making him stronger, and it's not like her slashes affect him.
[He'll go ahead and peek inside, not paying much mind to the CRASH from behind. Or the squawk-like laughter that follows.]
Slash, go grab Glow, okay? Burst, too.
[With that out of the way, he returns outside. By now, it looks like that crazy lizard's made it to... one of the higher windows, at any rate. The camera pans up to show Flare... leaning over the edge and scratching his head.]
You know, I'm surprised she hasn't evolved. If she's that desperate to get up there...
Some people like doing things the hard way. It's not that surprising that some Pokemon prefer it that way, too.
[Irritating, though. Or perhaps just confusing for Flare, given the look on his face.]
[Like... hah. Wanting to beat a fully evolved Pokémon without being one herself. Now there's a thought.
And, right as the thought crosses Riku's mind, his Lampent zips out the door, giggling as he rockets up towards the pesky lizard. Once Glow reaches her, she stubbornly spews flames at his body, only for him to... yup, soak it all in. And, given that he's a ghost type, that slash of her claws does little to phase him.
Flare smirks, tail thumping against the roof, and the camera returns to Riku.]
There, at least that'll humor her until she runs outta steam. Maybe then I can drag her to a Center or something.
[The nurses would know what to do about a crazy lizard like this. Especially one who's had to cross an ocean.]
