[High on the rooftop of Goldenrod's Radio Tower is where Riku makes his first appearance. Smoke and fire continue to burn at the city. He's... not entirely sure what he's doing there or why there are a bunch of weird turtle-things having a ball.

What does matter is that he's gotten himself a snazzy looking Keyblade and there's a whole swarm of Neoshadows down below.

So, what does Riku do? He takes a dive straight off of the building, grinning like mad, and drives his new Keyblade into the horde. His Charizard swoops down to join him, followed by the rest of his main team: Draco the Dragonite, Ace the Lucario, Zen the Blastoise, Blade the Scizor, and even Quake the Garchomp.

But just as soon as they get into the swing of things, they're warped elsewhere. They'll be showing up all across Johto and Kanto, fighting off stupid Heartless until they eventually recede.

But just when it seems like the fun's at its end, Riku and his team arrive in the center of Celadon...

Amidst 1000 more Heartless. At that point, Riku promptly slaps his palm over his face.]

Seriously? This is getting a little ridiculous...

[Later on, when the coast is clear, Riku finds himself with a new problem. It's at that point that he addresses the network, though people are welcome to see him with his new companion as well.]

Okay, does anyone know where this bat even came from? I already checked, and it's not a Pokémon. Could've fooled me, though.

[Seriously, this bat is just... nuzzling his face. What even?]

[ooc: Also, the icons are a lie. This Riku is seventeen due to a few years in Route, but it's not a major detail or anything. Just thought I'd note that juust in case!]

[What's he dealing with now? Double Soras? Did the older Sora go home? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

...Okay, he's just gonna. Clonk another Heartless on the head. This time, one of those pesky blue Wyverns.]

[Riku turns around-- well, more line spins, so he can slice through a few more Heartless. The voice definitely sounds familiar, even if he's from an earlier canon point.]

[Mickey casually decks a few Heartless that tried a sneak attack from behind.]

Know anyone else with ears this big?

[It's said with a smirk, as he leaps up and smacks his weapon into the back of a nearby Heartless.]

Same, though I wish someone would explain just what the hell is going on here. There are people showing up who I know for certain left here. Not that I am complaining about that, it is great to see them again but it is just very strange.

[Upon arriving, this particular Riku wasn't sure where he ended up. He gives a quick glance of his surroundings until he comes across the 1000 heartless in Celadon.

Wait-- heartless?!

Figure this out later, self.

His younger self might get a glimpse of his older self with this particular looking keyblade in hand, just bolting for the heartless problem.]

[...Whoa, okay. It's a version of him with shorter hair. That's definitely strange, and a part of him's tempted to ask what's going on. However, the Heartless aren't particularly patient creatures. In fact, a group of them are charging straight their way.

Sigh. He'll work this out later.}

Right! I've got this.

[Knees bent, he charges at the approaching mob, taking short glances towards the roof of his Training Center.]

Flare! You and the others cover us, you got that?

[The Charizard gives a silent nod. At least they've got air coverage now.]

[He isn't charging in blindly, spells are firing off his keyblade. Dark Firaga and Triple Plasma notably.

He thinks he hears a voice, but he quickly pushes that out of his mind. Deal with the heartless problem first.

Another quick Firaga Burst gives him enough space around him. Enough time to give a quick glance to where the voice came from.

Isn't that? Riku remains quiet, just watches his twin for a couple of seconds. Another replica?

Riku quickly falls into a defensive stance - his eyes had been off the battle for too long - and a heartless bounces off it, sending it flying elsewhere.]

(OOC; How I do make small tags, so different from IJ/LJ. If it's the same, then they don't wanna work for me 8C Also, Riku's a new muse on my end, hope I do him okay.)

[Riku's future self definitely has an edge when it comes to fighting experience. Even after spending two years in the Pokémon world, this Riku's never had any real experience with Heartless.

He's relying largely on physical combos. Blocking when necessary, slipping between blows and performing some Strike Raids every now and then.

But on the upside, he's not alone.

Flare, ever the loyal partner, throws himself against one of the Wyverns with a Flare Blitz. Riku's Lucario, Ace, swings down from a telephone and hurls an Aura Sphere at a Behemoth's horn. And boy is that one angry Scizor launching Bullet Punch after Bullet Punch at those obnoxious Armored Knights.

Together, they manage to clear a bit of a path, and Riku zips closer towards his double, continuing to watch him cautiously.]

Nice tricks.

[Magic... He really needs to figure out how to do that. Preferably soon.]

[Flying about on her blue pixie wings she spots Riku fighting off a horde of Heartless, and can't help but think that looks like fun. Lowering herself to just above the battle she hovers and watches.]
