So, Johto, Kanto. It's December again, and that means Christmas is right around the corner. And if you're a kid, that usually means waiting for presents under the tree-- supposedly from Santa Claus.

And maybe he'll stop by Route 34 for good measure in order to spar with his team. Because, while watching his Pokémon fight each other is nice and all, nothing beats getting in on the action. He'll be accompanied by his big ol' Charizard regardless of where he is.]

I'm surprised that there is actually a place called Halloween Town, considering we don't celebrate Halloween in China either.

Oh, so there were some spirits there? Did you see any huli jing? Or jiang shi?

What are those?

Huli jing are fox spirits with all sorts of mysterious powers, they are usually female and can even take on the shape of beautiful young women. As for jiang shi, well, I suppose you could say they are the Chinese equivalent of the vampires in Western culture.

I know there are vampires there... But I don't know about these shi things or the fox ones.
