islandshore | 50 - video/action for Olivine;

[The feed clicks on with some radical footage of two teenage boys cruising on waves. Some may recognize them as Sora and Riku, both of whom have forgone their usual attire for swim trunks. Now, at first everything seems fine and dandy, until a particularly gigantic wave sneaks up on them, smothering them and dunking them below the water's surface. A blastoise decked out in shades zips by, trying to contain her laughter. The feed ends momentarily.

Cue another feed with both boys performing noticeably better. Riku looks to the camera and flashes a smug grin. They perform a few more tricks before returning to the shore and addressing the network properly.]

[ the first to formally pop his head in direct veiw of the camera is Sora, shaking out the sea water from his hair. ]

So glad that the snow melted. I mean, I love snow and all, but having it ruin our beach plans wouldn't have been cool.

[In the background, a fairly disgruntled Weavile wanders by, slurping some sort of smoothie. He stops just long enough to address the feed with a fake, stuffy accent.]

Tsk. Frankly, I would have preferred an entire week of snow. This summer heat is simply too much.

[Suddenly Riku regrets bringing an ice type to town. Heaving a sigh, slips into view just a few seconds later, rolling his eyes at his Pokémon.]

Well, at least it's gone now. At any rate, if anyone's hanging around Olivine, Sora and I are setting up camp out here by the shore. If you don't mind some rough waves, feel free to drop by. We're planning on whipping up some barbeque in a bit.

[Those in the area are free to drop by Olivine's beach, where the two KH dorks will be hanging ten, among other things.]

Just clean up after yourselves and you can stay as long as you want. The power and water are paid for already.

[It's all set up. Beds included...though the pillows may need some airing out. They did leave a while ago.]

I'll be sure to box Phantom before we get inside. Wouldn't want him getting "creative" with the decorating, and he's been pretty restless as it is.

Otherwise, it should be fine, provided Sora doesn't leave things strewn across the floor.

[Nod. That would be very much appreciated--Sora's clothes would be one thing, but a restless ghost? They just fixed that house. They don't need the insulation all over the floor instead of in the loft.]

There's plenty of room outside if he needs to burn off some energy. The Tentacruels probably wouldn't mind a fight or two at this time of year.

Except he'd probably take more interest in terrorizing people or defacing the gym. Phantom's... kind of a loose cannon.

[And also obsessed in making mischief wherever he goes. Not the best guy to keep outside for too long.]

Definitely sounds like one. How do you manage to keep him from destroying everything like that?

[Because if he could get the ghost totally under control, she gets the feeling he'd have done it by now.]

I usually threaten to cram him into the box for a while, or I let the other Pokémon scare the snot out of him.

[One ghost can't take on the whole world, after all.]

I'm sure you know how it is with unruly Pokémon.

[Maybe. He's not sure how all of Light's team behaves.]

I know enough. [More than enough. Fang still hasn't settled down, and it's been almost three years now.] Most of mine settled after a while, though. If your tactics haven't worked that out of him, maybe it's time you change to something else.

[It's not said unkindly--Riku's a smart kid when he lets himself be--but rather curiously. If Phantom's still a problem, why has he stayed that way?]

They work to some degree, but you're probably right. Could use a change of tactics. It's just tricky when he's so stubborn. Not to mention a ghost.

[Can't really wrangle with something that can pass right through him, after all.]
