51 - video/action for Olivine;
Video A, backdated to the event start;
[The feed clicks on revealing a very disgruntled Riku with his hair ruffled up, bags under his eyes, and a stiff expression as he fends off his vicious attacker!
Said attacker is one of the Zombie Archens, currently swooping at his head with a mouthful of sticks and giving a brood curdling Kraaaaa! as he swats it away.]
Seriously, quit it. My hair is not a nest.
[He raises his voice before addressing the camera.]
Say, anyone else end up with fossils before all this? Looks like that seance reached further than bonies buried under the ground; this thing used to be a hunk of rock sitting in my room. Now it's trying to--
[Kyaaaa! The Archen dives again, dropping some of the sticks. Ugh.]
Now it's trying to weave my hair into a mobile nest. Now, I know there are people with Archens out there. Please tell me there's a way to make them stop...
Video B/Action, backdated to 27th;
[When the attack intensifies and the more powerful Pokémon come out to play, Riku does something stupid. Namely, he marches out into the fray wielding nothing but a hunk of metal shaped like a giant key. Yup, he's trying to fight off vicious dino-zombies using nothing but his makeshift weapon.
A Kabutops swipes its blade at him, and he lunges to the side in order to dodge. Sneering, he smashes his weapon into its chest. It screeches upon impact, but just when it seems this crazy teen might have an edge. After parrying another slice, he knocks the beast upside the head...
And then there's a screech, followed by hissing. Riku looks up, only to get a face full of tentacles.
It would seem that the Omastar bomber squad has arrived, given the Aerodactyls dropping the buggers down from the sky. Before the feed ends, there's a shot of a Haunter snickering next to a circle of Aerodactyls giving the equivalent of dino laughter. Off screen, Riku can be heard shouting--]
Gah! Don't tell me you've been recording this whole time.
[The feed clicks off, but anyone in the Olivine area is free to stumble upon raining crustaceans.]

[Action]
[So guess what Omastars and Aerodactyls are both weak to?
That's right! Electricity! And with a Zap Cannon from a Magnezone ripping through them, quite a few of the divebombers have just been taken out of the action.
Captain Twilight Sparkle has arrived.]
Riku! Need some backup?
[Action]
It takes a moment for him to respond as he spots out the salty, slimy residue. With that out of the way, he slings his mock-Keyblade over his shield and gives a sheepish smirk.]
Yeah, I think I might've bitten off a bit more than I could chew.
[But that's probably because he's fighting them himself. Go figure, right? Either way, he's gonna smash his weapon into one of the falling Omastar before sticking his fingers in his mouth and whistling. There's a roar from afar; must be Flare. Riku may be trying to push his own limits, but he's not so stupid as to come out without at least some assistance.]
[Action]
Tesla, start shooting the Aerodactyls out of the sky! [As Tesla complies, beginning to fire repeated blasts at the fliers, Twilight pulls out a second Pokeball and aims it at the ground. Bursting open, it unleashed Sapphire, who plummets down with all of her massive bulk onto the hapless Omastars below in what might be the nastiest Body Slam ever.]
Just stick with her, and you should be fine. We'll take care of things up here.
[Action]
[Darn it, that sounded so corny. Oh well, he'll give Sapphire a brief smirk before sprinting forward. That Kabutops he bashed hisses before pushing itself back on its feet. You will pay, puny fleshbag!
On the upside? Flare makes his appearance with style-- namely, a rain of rocks that smother one of the Aerodactyls. He shoots a quick glance at Twilight, snorts, and takes his place at their side. Hopefully they won't mind a bit of aerial assistance, particularly since Terror's busy growling at the other Aerodactyls to get their butts in gear. Prehistoric pride!]

I hope you aren't gonna make a habit outta me savin' you!

Hey, everybody slips up every now and then. Still, I owe you one.
[Now, pardon him as he slips beneath another falling Omastar and spins his weapon against a passing Archeops.
AJ may spot an orange shape hovering up in the sky. Flare's got his eye on things, mostly to bail Riku out in case he does anything dumb.]

Think you can give Flare a hand?
[Skits nods, and with a jolt of electricity the giant spider slowly hovers into the air with Magnet Rise. After a moment to stabilize himself, he jets off into the sky to assist the fire pokemon any way he can.
Meanwhile, Champ the Riolu rushes to Riku's side. He barks, hoping Riku can get the slimy monster off of him long enough for him to finish it off.]

Guess we should be glad these things don't explode. Then we'd really be in trouble.

[video] A route
[video]
[Ope. Here he comes again, landing right on top of Riku's head.]
And did you manage to find any distractions for yours? Always helps to get a second opinion, even if they are pretty varied.
So, perhaps something else that would resemble nesting material would work? I'm not particularly fond of compromise myself, but it can pay to be diplomatic.

[...]
Otherwise, I could always distract him with Christmas lights. He doesn't seem that bright.

[She shows off her Archen to the camera, where the fossil bird has some bright colored ribbon inside of its mouth. Doesn't seem like the bird is ready to let go of them anytime soon either.]
He's a big meanie.
video
[Still, he sympathizes. This thing's a scatterbrain, to say the least. Who in the world uses hair as a nest?]
video
[Mayuri sighs in exasperation. It could be worse, like Archie going after her prized possessions from home. Both of those are very shiny and eyecatching.]

[These guys don't seem to be at too high of levels, but it does vary.]

Laugh it up, slacker. You're not the one risking your neck out here with these fossil-brains.

[ She's interrupted by a screech before she can say anything, before she has a Kabuto jumping at her. She moves out of the way, but the video of the gear leaves her face because of it.
So feel free to take a look of the lopsided shot of a Raichu jumping towards the Kabuto and a bit of lightning before Hikari readies herself again. ]
Why aren't you using your pokémon to fight them off?
Video
I'm tired of sitting on the sidelines. How am I supposed to become any stronger if I don't push my limits?
Video
There's a difference between trying to get stronger and putting yourself in harms way stupidly! It's not like you have any special abilities or anything here to keep you alive!
[ Meganium lets out a yell in the background, and a couple of leaves might be able to be seen flying past Hikari. ]
