[It's a beautiful day in Mahogany. No rain. No hurricanes. No falling cats and dogs. A few clouds, but nothing too out of the ordinary.
The camera pans around to show what looks like a weird amalgamation of a Rotom and a portable oven. Next to the oven we have two teenagers some might recognize as Sora and Riku. Grinning, Riku steps aside and turns to his friend.]
You ready for this?
[ and Sora looks about as giddy as ever. that means this is either going to be AWESOME ...or an utter disaster. probably a disaster but there's no way that they are going to stop this ]
Ready!
All right. Then let's get this show on the road.
[The Rotom whirrs and grins, as the read aura surrounding its body flickers and dances. It shuts its eyes, leans back, and then, WHOOSH!
Out pops a pizza, flying through the air like a frisbee. Riku's grin grows even larger than before, and he crosses his arms.]
Ha, I knew this'd pay off.
[Or so he thinks. Off camera, there's an audible SPLAT, followed by a shriek that can only be described as that of a banshee crossed with a screaming, red-tailed hawk. A shadow descends over the boys, and a flock of feathery figures descend, led by a bird coated in bits of cheese, sauce, and crust. The birds all have one thing in common: they're new, and they all have lucha masks.
The feed cuts abruptly as the cheese-stained bird hurls a rose at the dorky duo.]

[Later, the following message appears.]
So bird wrestlers are a thing now.
Word of advice: don't hit them in the face with pizzas. I barely got out of there without getting reduced to jerky. The good news is, we found out you can turn Rotoms into portable pizza launchers. Anyone else try hooking them up to appliances?
Downside's that I wound up wasting almost all my Pokéballs. Anyone want a weird, masked eagle? They're free.
Might as well tack on a shameless plug while I'm at it. Our Pokémon had a little quality time together, and now we got eggs to sells. Charmanders, Treeckos, Gligars, Darumakas, and Gibles. I'll attach a list of prices and moves.
P.S. Could somebody explain why those birds have masks in the first place? I feel like I'm missing something.
[ooc: Eggs can be found here. Chars from the last app round and the upcoming one get a 50% discount.]

ACTION I GUESS?
[ huff puff. Sora's pretty much sitting right there complaining about the fighting birds. ]

[He rubs his shoulder, which has some scratch marks from one of those pesky birds. There's a pile of Pokéballs in their place, guarded by Flare.
Wiping the sweat off his face, Riku collapses next to Sora.]
...so, you wanna give it another shot?
[Judging by his smirk, he might not be serious about this.]

I'll take one. Hell I'll take any you don't want, though I'd prefer not to overload my team. I kind of have a thing with birds, so if there are some that are too aggressive for other people I can take care of them.
[Text]
Got any preferences? Male, female? Aggressive or docile?

I'd also take an eagle - they remind me of the Aevis of home. Plus, if more have them, it shall be easier to discover more about their species.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Besides, I don't think I could handle this many. Just let me know what kind you want. I think there's a mix of male and female, but it's kind of hard to tell.

[Either way, he's happy to distribute those flaming lizards of death. You can never have too many Charizards.]

Can I get one?
[Because unlike 90% of the Pokemon he's seen here, those things are actually pretty cool.]</small

Anyway, I'll send one your way. Just don't be surprised if his feathers are a bit ruffled from the fight. Surge... kind of went overboard.

Birdman?
Thanks. No problem with it being messed up either.

Think what makes Rotoms so cool is that they can take control of machines. The oven was more of a test run, but I've been meaning to try other appliances, like a fridge and a washing machine.

...I suppose if I'm looking at it from a less ridiculous standpoint, it also resembles some depictions of a certain class of Aztec warriors.
Ah, I do believe I heard about that, actually --- not quite to that extent, though. I'd be interested in hearing what you learn from those and if you manage to discover anything truly unique.

So... are we ordering pizza, then?

[He whistles, and Flare wanders over with yet another box. Grinning, Surge hovers over to him and opens his little compartment. In goes a Pepperoni pizza!]
But first we gotta do some more target practice. We came too far to turn back.

[Plus, it's kind of really funny to hit things with pizza.]
