[The feed begins with a series of snapshots. It starts with images of a war-torn battlefield lined with giant crystals, Team Aqua and Magma grunts and hordes of Pokémon and trainers alike.]
This world isn't safe.
[The images shift. New snapshots appear of Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon, taken from a safe distance above, but distinct in that they are indeed giant, glowing monsters.]
What happened last week is proof of that. You may all be content to enjoy a carefree lifestyle, but if it weren't for divine intervention, life as we know it would have ended with a whimper.
Together, we were able to hold off Team Aqua and Magma's forces, but the battle doesn't end there. If you could make a difference in the protection of this world, would you do it?
[The message ends there. About a half hour later, another text appears on the network, this time from a non-anonymous source.]

So, I think we all learned something valuable from that mess down at Tohjo: Don't summon giant lizards and whales to start the apocalypse. God doesn't like it.
There's a lot I could say. It was a busy few days, but if you look past all the legendaries, the explosions, and those cornball teams, there are two things that stick out to me: the weird power up some of our Pokémon got and the Pokémon god himself.
[Case in point? Here's an image of a Mega Sharpedo getting punched in the nose by a Mega Charizard X.]
So, what do you guys think that power was? Did any of you get a straight answer from Arceus? And how about that fairy type?
PGC filter:
By the way, looking for a status report from all remaining members. With so many of us gone, we're gonna have to shuffle the squads. That's also why I sent out a recruitment message.

[The Sylveon gets a friendly wave and a smile, along with a greeting from an Umbreon trying to climb on his trainer's shoulder for a better look. Hey there!]
True. I don't want to turn them into punching bags... Guess we'll just have to wait for the update that Sycamore guy talked about.
But that doesn't mean we can't speculate. Most type weaknesses make some sense, anyway.
Which would mean traditional fairy weaknesses. I wonder if they have something in common with elf weaknesses?
There are some yips in the background while Riku continues to speak.]
Hrmm... Well, what are elves weak to? Can't say I've ever met one.
Metal. The Dark Elf once build its nest in the deepest chamber of a magnetic cave, to ensure that its weakness would not be used against it. That's not the sort of precaution you take against something that merely makes you uncomfortable.
[Magic against technology... there's another way you can spin it.
And now that goofy Sylveon is... bounding onto the bed. Riku doesn't seem to notice, but judging by the way it's squatting, it may very well try and pounce.]
What about fire? I've seen stories with forest fairies and stuff, so it's an option, anyway.
[...Oh? Oooooohhhhhh? Edges stares at the Sylveon, his eyes sparkling with anticipation. Do iiiiiiiit.]
[WHOMP! The Sylveon, tired of being ignored, slams into Riku's back, sending him toppling over like a tree, while the 'Gear clatters to the ground.
For several seconds, there's a lovely shot of the ceiling before the Sylveon giggles and scoops up the device with a ribbon. Take that!]
...Ugh. Well, I know one thing for sure. Fairy pounces are super effective. Ugh, my back...
Well, at least you now know what sort of moves it can use in battle. Is your spine still in one piece?
[Oof. He's still rubbing his back as he picks up the 'Gear.]
Hope your Umbreon hasn't tried pulling a stunt like that. This guy had to weigh at least fifty pounds...
[You break it you fix it, or something. If healing moves even work on humans.]
[The Sylveon tilts his head for a moment, then squeaks. Healing? Dude, he's only level five!
Though he will rub at his back with a feeler... at least until Riku swats it away.]
Still trying to figure out what fairy types can even do. Spread sparkles and rainbows? If this guy's any indication, I'm expecting a lot of pink...
[Edges nods to that. Yeah, Crystal might be super quiet but it's all pretty and sparkly, like an evolution stone!]
[Pfft. The Sylveon puffs his chest out, flexing his feelers. Yeah, the dragons ain't got nothing on the Sylveon brigade.]
But I could see those rock guys being fairies. They did seem to take dragon hits pretty well. Same goes for the keyrings.
[Edges sniggers. Yep, even rude Dora and bully Kayne couldn't do win that fight.]
I wonder if every Fairy-type species is so small? Not that I expect any to be as large as Steelix or Wailord, but still...
[Ooh, what's this? A Gym battle? Ooh! The Sylveon's bouncing up and down with excitement, and Riku presses his palm against his forehead, trying to calm his bouncy spirit.]
Hmm... That's a good point. Without knowing all the fairies, it's a tough call. But we've got dragon types that don't even look like dragons. Maybe there's a fairy out there that's a huge, hulking monster./. with butterfly wings.
...If you somehow find a hulking monstrous fairy with butterfly wings and use it to defeat Clair's Elite team, I'll buy you as many drinks as you wish during the victory party.
[Because what he just imagined was beautiful.]
[His lips curl into a broad smirk, and he raises a clenched fist.]
I'll find the burliest, most vicious fairy out there and steamroll that team. And I'll share it with the world.
[So is the thought of a victory party, for that matter.]
If not... well, I'll pick the manliest fairy I can find.
[He makes it sound so easy.]
