[Well, that's strange. Today, it looks like a Charizard is using Riku's PokéGear. For a few seconds, he flips it around in his hand, making the footage go upside-down and sideways until it finally settles in an upright position.
Once that's done, he leans back a little and snorts. Those who can understand Pokémon should be get the gist of what he's saying, but for the rest, it'll come out as a series of grunts, growls, and roars.]
Alright. I don't normally bother to ask for advice, but I figure someone's gotta know what to do about this. Anyway, here's the deal. My trainer's... well, let's just say he's getting pretty full of himself. Thinks he's better than the Gym Leaders, that there's no one out there who can beat him.
[He sighs.]
Basically, his ego's about to explode. What I'm wondering is if--
[Suddenly, he's interrupted as a Scyther flies into him from the side, waving her blades around.]
Don't say that about him! He should be a Gym Leader! He'd be the best ever!
Relax, will you?
[He pushes Blade out of the way and continues.]
Like I was saying, he's taking things too far. I'm all for getting stronger, but he's too focused on winning battles. Has us beat up on wild Pokémon way weaker than us... for hours. Seriously. Sometimes he'll leave us out there on our own while he does something else. Riku needs to relax-- he's got plenty of time to face the Gym Leaders, and there's no need to train us all the time. And he doesn't have to be the best. The problem is, I'm not sure how to get the message through his thick skull.
His skull's not thick!
I said relax. It's for his own good.
[Blade isn't quite convinced, however, and she flails around in frustration. Around that time, Gear the Skarmory and Slash the Sneasel appear on screen. Gear hurries over to Flare, while Slash slowly follows, heaving a sigh.]
You know, perhaps the problem is that we're too cooperative. If we stood up for our views, then he might reconsider.
But I like running around outside! It's fun, it's fun!
[Rolling his eyes, Flare looks back at the Gear.]
I'll just cut to the chase. How do I get my trainer to quit being such a stubborn prick? I'm all ears.
[With that, he puts down the Gear, right as the other Pokémon start bickering loudly about Riku's training strategy. The things he has to put up with...]
[ooc: Been wanting to do a Poké-post for a while. Anyhow, Riku's team will handle the replies for a while, at least until 'ku gets back.]

That sounds like a tough one. I think that if you did stand up for yourselves, it might help. I do that to my trainer sometimes.
But once that's taken care of...]
Oh, I've tried. The problem is, Riku's as stubborn as they come. It's not like he's a total slave driver, but he's pretty set in his ways.
[Pause]
Maybe he just needs to lose. It works with Roxas sometimes.

[Video] I don't have icons for Pichu, so we'll have to settle for Ed's face instead.
[Video] nothin' wrong with that :o
[He looks at Flare, who just shrugs.]

[Video] No Aipom icons. Take Gus posing like a monkey?
[Video] it's a silly icon, so that's fine

Perhaps you should look into talking with him? My mother can be quite stubborn herself sometimes, but she's also open to reasoning.

[Great. Now there's a Skarmory pecking at the screen, at least until Flare snags the Gear back.]

How about giving him a hug?

[He blinks a few times. That's... a very strange suggestion.

Maybe you should all run away and have an island vacation, away from your trainer! That's what I'd do if my trainer pushed me too much!
[...Scott does push his Pokemon too much. Edward is just a derp.]
[Actually, that's not a bad idea.]
I could ditch him for a while, just so he has to think things through.
