islandshore | 26 - video/action for Violet;

[Today, Riku and Sora both returned to Violet City. Also known as Riku's least favorite place in Johto!

But as the feed starts up, courtesy of 'tortle-cam, Riku looks relatively chill. His other Pokémon are probably closed by, evidenced by the snorts from a Charizard and the squawking from a Skarmory.]

Sora and I made it back to Violet. Didn't take too long, and as much as I can't stand it here, at least we're on solid ground.

[A beat.]

So, suppose you have to stay in a town you hate for a while. What's the best way to make the most out of it? It could be a few weeks before we move on to Azalea.

[He's about to say something else, when the camera shifts to the cheeky wartortle's face, and she lets out a "Braaaahaha~ (He's so gonna get it, bros.)

She points off screen, and Riku tries to grab the 'Gear out of her hand, when all of the sudden, cue the wild Pokémon theme and...]

GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

[The Pokégear hits the ground with a thud, and there's a surprised groan from Riku, followed by the sound of something whipping him and a disgruntled, "Vine!"

A very, very angry Ivysaur's face appears on the screen until the 'Gear is tugged away. Vine grumbles and pounces on Zen, and there's a rolling heap of Pokémon.]

[Zen and Vine attack each other with a flurry of vine whips and ice beams. At one point, Zen even hops onto Vine's back for a good five seconds before she's knocked aside.

This crazy brawl continues for about two minutes before the rest of Riku's team manage to separate the silly feud. Vine appears to be knocked out, thanks to a type disadvantage, and Riku groans as he reaches over to pick up the Pokégear again.]

[And when Riku finally gets control of the feed, he just looks a bit irritated.]

Anyway, it looks like I've got company.

[And with a sigh, he ends the feed.

People in Violet are free to encounter this madness. Pokémon can join in the fun, too, be it video or action.]

[ooc: Yes, I got permission for this random encounter, since Vine's previous owner never sent her anywhere.]

Ran into an 'old friend'.

One of the Pokémon I traded off found me. Her previous trainer must've left.

She didn't look too happy.

Trust me, Vine's never happy.

I know some people like that, too.

Yeah, but at least they aren't vicious dinosaurs.

[Tiny, vicious dinosaurs, but still.]

That'd be pretty funny if they were!

Beats me. I traded her off months ago, so it's not like I expected to see her again.

Do you think something's happened to her trainer?

She might've left; it's been months since I've heard anything from her over the network.
