	CHARIZARD flies around the sky in search of powerful opponents. It breathes fire of such great heat that it melts anything. However, it never turns its fiery breath on any opponent weaker than itself. Info: After months of wanting a good fire type, Riku finally managed to catch this bad boy when he woke up outside Mt. Mortar. He's a bit large for a Charizard and certainly tough, but Flare is generally laid back for his species. Even now that he's level 100, he tends to keep his cool. That big, tough front he used to have? He's even gotten tired of it, now that Riku keeps using him as a means to a quick victory. And though he's much stronger now, he's still pretty friendly around other Pokémon. Kind of like a bro, just with a fiery disposition. True to his species, he does have a bit of a temper, but so long as you don't push his buttons, he won't bite back. Flare has become the unofficial leader of Riku's team due to his generally laid back attitude and experience. No matter where Riku goes, Flare's always by his side, having faced off against Pokémon super effective against him, like Misty's Quagsire, and come out on top. He might not be a tank like Blade or a jack of all trades like Draco, but regardless of weaknesses, Flare's the absolute favorite. He communicates with a series of grunts and low roars (see the cry link). In Pokéspeak, his sentence structure is pretty casual and informal. He can handle complex discussions, but prefers to keep it simple. Cry is generally transcribed as generic roars, "rrraaaarrrrgh" and whatnot. Prior to evolving, he had a habit of latching onto Riku's shoulders to get around.
