	They live in cold regions, forming groups of four or five that hunt prey with impressive coordination. It sends signals to others by carving odd patterns in frost-covered trees and ice. Info: Calm, intelligent, and proper, Slash is very much the gentleman of Riku's team. Though he does enjoy swindling eggs from time to time, he tends to treat other Pokémon with at least some respect. Furthermore, he's highly tolerant of his team mates' recklessness and even manages to calm Quake down with threats of ice beam. When he's not battling, Slash enjoys looking at books, if only to appear smart. He can read and write quite well, though he's determined to push further than that and master human speech. He communicates verbally with yowls, squeaks, and sometimes hisses and growls. This translates to very formal speech when conversing with other Pokémon. He can also communicate by scratching signs into boulder sand other surfaces. Generally, his cry is transcribed as "Nyaaaaaa," with some hissing and growls thrown in. Because he's stubbornly trying to speak like a human, he refuses to use his normal vocalizations.
