Once he realizes what Kairi's done, Riku flies backwards, face beet red. She's free at last, and Riku's just... staring, wide-eyed. Trying and failing to process the situation.]

[She might laugh, and even point, but her cheeks are a little red too.]

[Buh, this is just... weird. Very, very weird and strange and he's just gonna sit there with one hand on his cheek like a doofus.]

Oh, yeah. I was thinking... maybe I should start training my team. I mean, I like them the way they are, but I don't think other trainers are taking me seriously.

[The thought's crossed his mind before. Training Kairi, that is. After all, she's still inexperienced, and that could spell trouble.]

Well, some people just don't like battling, and that's fine, but I definitely encourage it. After all, you never know when you'll get cornered by a Rocket or attacked by some tough, wild Pokémon.

Well, all right, but don't expect it to be easy. There's a lot to learn about Pokémon battles, but if you're really up for it, I'll teach you everything from basics to all the small nuances that can change the tide in a fight.
