I'm more than happy to handwave pass purchases, since I realize that repeatedly noting purchases could get a little time consuming.

[But the blankets are so warm, and the bed's so soft, and... fine. Truth is, he's not that heavy a sleeper, so the kiss is enough for him to blearily open his eyes, yawning and stretching and rolling onto his back.]

Geez. How long'd you let me sleep this time?

[At least he's not putting up too much of a fight, huh? He'll even sit up, albeit sluggishly, and try smoothing out his bed head.]

[ which means that Sora can just hover over him, giving a shrug. ]

It's almost ten. That's why I really, really need you to get up and get dressed.

[ it's important. and as if it would really help, Sora gets out of bed and rushes down the hall to get dressed himself. ]

Okay, okay...

[Geez, Sora. Talk about eager... But hey, he would've liked to get up earlier, so for as much as he'd love to lounge under the blankets, he'll slide out of bed and shamble over to his closet.

Give him a few minutes, and he'll be out searching for Sora.]

[ and Sora will come up behind him! with a blindfold to tie around his eyes. ]

Right, because you're so dangerous.

[He folds his arms, and though the blindfold covers them, he rolls his eyes.]

Look, it's part of the surprise. Flare and some of the others should be ready. Buuut you're gonna be like this for a bit so I hope you went to the restroom and stuff.

And how long is a bit?

[He'll try to follow Sora's lead, but it's hard with his eyes covered, and frankly, this whole set-up's kinda silly.]

Until we get to where we are going and everyone helps us set up.

[ Riku can't know, but Sora is leading him towards Flare, who is packed up with some of the things they are going to need. Spitfire and Fluffy have the rest. ]

Oh, so it's a group effort, huh? Geez, Sora. You been planning this for a while?

[Well, fine. He'll keep toddling along. Might as well see what Sora's plotting.]

[ shoving at Riku to get on Flare! ]

Well yeah, obviously. And you know how good I am at bribing your teammates.

[Sigh, okay, he's climbing on. Or trying. Blindfolds sorta suck.

Luckily, Flare's smart enough to just grab Riku and do it for him.]

Geez, what'd you bribe them with this time?

[ good Flare. best Flare. Sora's climbing on right along with Riku. with a pat, Flare knows to take off.

time to head to Fuchsia. ]

I can't tell you my secrets.

[Oh god, they're flying? They're flying, and he's blindfolded, and this just got extremely ridiculous.]

Wow. Didn't think you'd kidnap me.

It wouldn't really be much of a treat if I didn't. We'll be up here for a few hours.

[ again, just until they get to the beach. even then Riku isn't going to be allowed to see. nope! that's because Sora and some of their teammates are rushing around, setting everything up.

and once it is, Sora is grabbing Riku's hands, slowly guiding him. ]

Hey, no point in holding back. Let's just cut to the chase.

[He'll keep following along, though the urge to tug at that blindfold is strong.]

[ Sora sits Riku down. then he removes the blind fold. to start with, it's a picnic on the beach! what a surprise.

actually the real surprise is on the left. a tent and stuff to spend the weekend here. camping out. ]

This is unexpected. Give him a moment to soak it all in because this was not what he anticipated at all, and the amount of effort Sora's put into it's kinda astonishing.]

You did all this for me?

[ c'mon Riku. you can't say it like that. now Sora's unsure, shifting his weight about. nervous. ]

Yeah?

I...

[Give him a second to recover. This is a huge surprise. Like, he knew Sora cared, but this is taking it up a notch.

Though a smile starts to form. See? It's okay.]

Sora... Thank you.

[ look this is also a competition to out gift the other. speaking of gifts... Riku's are inside the tent. all wrapped and awesome like.

but hearing that? Sora breathes out a huge sigh. ]

Awesome. You had me worried for a moment.

You really think I'd be disappointed? C'mon, Sora. You know me better than that.

[Here, he'll even settle onto the picnic blanket, patting an empty spot next to him.]

It's not that. I thought maybe you'd think I went a little too far or that it was too dorky or -

[ you know what? he's just going to stop there. Sora's going to sit down next to Riku and just have a good time. ]

I just thought that it's been a while since it was just you and me camping out.

[Know what? He'll put a hand over Sora's for some extra reassurance.]

Hey, glad you thought of it. I don't think I could've come up with a setup like this.

[ Riku, that's probably the cutest thing you've ever done. and it makes Sora's heart soar. ]

I'm sure you could have, Riku. You just need to let your inner softie out more.

You sure that's a good idea? It'd probably throw things out of balance. Somebody's gotta counteract all your sap, anyway.

[Even if he'd love to do more. Just seeing Sora's reactions is worth it, and it feels good, too.]
