any capacity i can. i'm new still, but i can pass you any intel i get from them. and anything i give to them, too. they've got other sources of info than just me, obviously, but you can at least know what they know for sure through me.

I've got another inside agent. Dunno if he's touched base with you or not, but if it's any consolation, you're not alone in this. Should make it easier to cover your tracks, too.

no one's out and out told me they're working with you, but i've only been talking to one guy in the team about not being comfortable being press-ganged into a criminal organization. he's the one who mentioned potentially working with you. don't know if he's the same guy or not. although then again, he probably would have told me if he was working with you, considering my own interest.

i don't want to sell him out by saying his name, obviously. most of the otherworlders i've met in the team don't seem too bad. i'm not looking to get them in trouble directly, and i don't see how my exposing them would help anyone unless it ended up with going after them.

i'd like to know who your agent is, but i can understand if you can't tell me. you've got no proof other than lip service yet that this isn't a triple cross. although frankly, i don't think anyone in team rocket smart enough to pull one off is invested enough in any organized resistance to attempt one. haven't noticed a lot of concern about it at ground level.

Could be that the same person. Bit hard to coordinate a communication about this without risking their identities, especially if they are two different people.

What I could do is reach out to my mole and see if he's nudged any more rockets toward me recently. I could do it without mentioning you if it makes you feel safer.

Honestly, I think overt resistance is a risk because they're so established. They got bases all over both regions, and in prominent places. They're the definition of wolves in sheep's clothing.

fair enough. and i mean, i could always ask the guy myself, face to face. he knows i'm genuine about all this, and we're friends, so i don't see why he wouldn't tell me. worst that'll happen is that he tells me no, he's just a sympathizer.

as for mentioning me or not...up to you. if you trust the guy enough by now, then i should be safe enough with him knowing me, and it'd probably be better if we coordinated anyway. if you're not that sure of him, well...we could work independently. the question is whether he'll feel safe with me. i'm not exactly proven yet.

well, that's a pain, but it cuts both ways. if they're not worried about this resistance, or its members potentially joining it, then they won't be trying to infiltrate you, and they'll be less likely to see moles like me coming. not gonna cry about that.
