[Now where's Riku been amidst all this chaos?

He's been... in various locations over the past few weeks. Between heading out to Union Cave to get Demyx's Onix to getting caught up in the fog, things haven't been particularly dull, much less pleasant for Riku, and it shows. Right now, he's close to the Pokémart in Violet City, sitting with one hand pressed against his head. His Haunter can be seen in the background, hovering around with a shiny new Rotom, but Riku doesn't give them a passing glance.

His mind's too wrapped around his nightmare visions. Seeing his best friends abandon him-- replace him. There's a reason he hasn't touched his Gear in a while. However, he doesn't say a word about it.

Instead, he groans, muttering something under his breath...]

Can't get it out of my head now. It's been months...

[Shaking his head, Riku finally looks down at the Pokégear.]

What's it like, past Azalea Town? I only got to see the forest.

[AGH. Way to catch him off guard, Sora!

Phantom chuckles, and one of his hands floats up to Sora to give him a light flick on the forehead, while Surge slowly floats towards him and his Girafarig.

Riku, on the other hand, blinks a few times before getting up. If Sora were to look closely, he might notice an egg poking out of his bag.]

Hey, Riku! Man, you should have seen how Roxas stomped us in a battle, it was pretty embarra-- hey!

[tries to smack Phantom away- although Sora doesn't notice the egg right off the bat, Puddles does, and trots on over to inspect the bag curiously. is this edible, silver-haired friend of Trainer?]

[Pardon him if he sounds a bit short, pal. His nightmare was not pretty.

Surge, meanwhile, hovers around Sora's head a few times, while Phantom pulls his hand back. When Puddles approaches, Riku glances at him briefly.]

[Puddles is sniffing at the egg curiously, still trying to decide if it's edible. hmmmm.]

Where were you this weekend? I'm sorry I couldn't find you-- I couldn't find anyone.
