[The feed begins with a rather unusual shot. Namely, the tail end of a very black Charizard... squeezing herself underneath a bed. Or rather, trying and failing miserably.

There's an exasperated sigh as the camera turns to Riku.]

Anyone got tips for dealing with a Pokémon that has serious self-esteem issues? Cinder's always been timid, but ever since she's evolved, she's been trying to bury herself under my bed. And no amount of talking to her's convinced her to get out.

Grooogh... Grrarrghhhh!

[That'd be said Charizard, squirming, tail thumping against the floor. No, she doesn't wanna come out! Now she looks even less like Flare than before, and that's bad!

Riku promptly slaps his palm over his face. There's some chuckling from off camera soon after.]

I cood try and find Frrrr... Fyyy... Sigh, Farare, I suppose. We did have urgent business, anyway.

Yeah. I was getting there.

[Turning the camera away from the bed, the cameramon follows Riku closer to the doorway.]

So, while I wait for Flare to get his butt over here, there's something else I need to talk about. Well, me and my team. See, the other day, they up and decided that they want to be responsible parents. So, if you've ever bought an egg from me, could you at least tell me how the Pokémon are doing? If you can bring them on camera, even better.

After one of Flare's eggs hatched small, I just want to check in. Not just because of health, either; I'd love to hear how they're doing, period.

[And with that, he ends the feed. Time to try dragging out a seven-foot dragon before she breaks his bed... Sigh.]

They both look cool. Cinderi is cool and Flare is cool, even if they look different from each other. [ he's obviously saying this for the distressed charizard's sake. it may not be as simple as telling her she looks good but nice words can't hurt, right? ]

[...Why is this person being so nice? And giving compliments? Cinder's tail thumps on the floor, and she relaxes just a little bit, but she's still halfway squeezed under that bed and not moving any time soon. Still, it's a start.]

And I don't see what's wrong about standing out. If she was the normal cover, she'd just blend in with the other Charizards here, and people might not recognize her as easily.

[ he's going to take that as a sign that it's okay to keep petting her lightly even if in the back of his mind he still can't believe he's petting a dragon. ]

I can see how it might be uncomfortable... but you're right, I can easily tell which one is Cinderi so I don't have to worry about calling her by the wrong name. Maybe it's kind of like when a person is really tall and they feel self conscious about it while shorter people wish they could be taller.

Yeah, I think that's it. She's gotten plenty of compliments before, but I guess she just doesn't understand them.

[Well, he'll go ahead and crouch down beside her, giving her another pat.]

She just needs more confidence. No need to worry about something as silly as the color of her scales.

Everyone has something they don't like about themselves, I'm sure it's the same for pokemon. But once she learns to accept it she'll be stronger and cooler for it, right? [ still the soothing petting, he might be trying to peek under the bed discretely as well ]

It's okay if it's little by little, I think. [ by little he means starting with not hiding under the bed. ]

[If he does peek under there, he'll see her covering her face with her hands. Go 'way...

Though judging by the growling of her stomach, she won't be able to keep it up much longer.]

Yeah. I just hope it happens soon rather than later.

[ ...the heck was that. once Joonhee realises it was Cinder's stomach growling he looks away, biting his lip because he's trying not to laugh. he has a bit of a weak spot for adorable and giant, hungry, cowering dragon is adorable. ]

Or else she's going to stay there all day? She'll skip her meals?

She'll have to come out at some point. Even Cinder wouldn't starve herself.

[Whimper, moan. Nooo, stomach! Don't do that to her. She must stay in her safety zone!]

Does she only eat meat? [ curious, because all of his are...tiny and harmless and eat things that are easy to prepare or not at all. ...and maybe talking about her favourite foods will help tempt her out. ]

I've been making food for some of the smaller guys but I'm never sure what the bigger ones would like.

Usually I just feed her raw meats. She's a little more receptive to berries than Flare, though.

[...Meat. Berries. Pardon Cinder if he tail twitches a little, and she lets out another moan. Foooood. ;w;]

I made some pancakes with the berries that my girls like. Even Dongwook likes them even though he eats mostly meat... I wonder if she'd like those too?

[ food is good Cinder, come on :< ]

[...Ooh. Pancakes? Why did it have to be pancakes?

Cue more whimpers. Food, why must you tempt her so?]

Well, it's worth a try. Could always bring some in and hope the smell tempts her out.

I made some extra, I can warm them back up and see if she likes them.

[ so he'll get up and go get food. it doesn't take long and something sure smells nice when he comes back. ]

Cinder-ah... will you come out for a snack? There's still more in the kitchen if you want more too. Not just pancakes either.

[Grumble, rumble, whimper, snort... She squirms a little, and her stomach growls again. She wants to keep hiding, but... But...

SIGH. Fine. Watch her... slowly crawl out, keeping low to the floor like a scared cat more than a tough dragon.]

Well, well. Looks like you finally won her over.

[ he looks at the still cowering giant dragon. ]

I'm not sure that counts as winning. [ but it makes her a heck of a lot more approachable to him! he sets the food down close to her and pats her head. ]

[Food!

Yeah, she's just gonna grab the food and start shoveling it down, tail swishing as she eats. Though she might be eating a bit too fast.]

Cinder, take it easy! You don't want to choke.

[ wow, look at all that teeth and the giant tail swishing. ]

I think we're going to need to go to the kitchen. [ she might be out from under the bed but it still looks like a fire hazard. ]
