[The feed begins with a rather unusual shot. Namely, the tail end of a very black Charizard... squeezing herself underneath a bed. Or rather, trying and failing miserably.

There's an exasperated sigh as the camera turns to Riku.]

Anyone got tips for dealing with a Pokémon that has serious self-esteem issues? Cinder's always been timid, but ever since she's evolved, she's been trying to bury herself under my bed. And no amount of talking to her's convinced her to get out.

Grooogh... Grrarrghhhh!

[That'd be said Charizard, squirming, tail thumping against the floor. No, she doesn't wanna come out! Now she looks even less like Flare than before, and that's bad!

Riku promptly slaps his palm over his face. There's some chuckling from off camera soon after.]

I cood try and find Frrrr... Fyyy... Sigh, Farare, I suppose. We did have urgent business, anyway.

Yeah. I was getting there.

[Turning the camera away from the bed, the cameramon follows Riku closer to the doorway.]

So, while I wait for Flare to get his butt over here, there's something else I need to talk about. Well, me and my team. See, the other day, they up and decided that they want to be responsible parents. So, if you've ever bought an egg from me, could you at least tell me how the Pokémon are doing? If you can bring them on camera, even better.

After one of Flare's eggs hatched small, I just want to check in. Not just because of health, either; I'd love to hear how they're doing, period.

[And with that, he ends the feed. Time to try dragging out a seven-foot dragon before she breaks his bed... Sigh.]

Well, Brenn is with me, he's doing fine. He still wants to explore everything and he's a Wartortle. If he's leveled enough for it I'm hoping to have him ready for when I get to Goldenrod City.

Aglon... I have an idea but I haven't figured it all out yet. I'm getting there! She's not trying to eat my other Pokemon anymore!

And the Larvitar hasn't hatched yet. Seems like it'll be a while.

[By the time Riku responds, there's a Blastoise with shades stomping around in the background, grumbling something to Flare, who... is attempting to tug at Cinder's tail.

A Wartortle or Blastoise probably would help for Whitney's secret weapon. I'd go into more details, but I'm pretty sure you've got a no spoiler policy.

[Wait, Wartortle? Hold the presses, broskis! Here comes Zen, stomping into view with a throaty Brraaaaah!

Oh, this is relevant to her interests. Did this chica get one of her totally awesome eggs? Huh, huh?]

...and I think you just said the magic word, because look who's here.

[Zen thumps her hand on Riku's shoulder, snickering under her breath. Hey, she knows when it's time to shine, bro. Totally.]

[ normally he'd steer clear of other's people's rooms but he saw the post so he's going to knock lightly and just kind of peek in while hovering just outside the door. ]

How is she doing...? [ looks about the same as the video, huh? ]

Is there anything I can do to help?

[Sollux sings an exceptionally flat and uninterested jingle as soon as the feed turns on. What's being captured on video, however, is not his lispy mug for once; it's an Eevee, making herself comfortable on some hotel's armchair. The expression she's giving the camera is one of deep, intense judging, but eventually she loses interest in it altogether and rests her head on her paws for a nap. Sollux moves the camera back to himself.]

Naginata here's from you. She's doing fine, but have fun getting her to agree to an Evolution. None of them are good enough for her delicate sensibilities.

Well, if Flare can't talk some sense into her, I might need a hand pulling her out.

[Cue one whimper from Cinder. No, go away! Don't look at her! Black scales, not orange... Whyyy?]

Though I'm hoping he can get her thinking straight before my bed lights up.

[There's an Umbreon lurking in the background, ears flicking. Oh, is that one of her brood? Hnnn...

Her eyes narrow, and she plants herself behind Riku, just... leering.]

So she's stubborn, huh? Well, if worse comes to worst, you could always throw a stone at her and leave it at that.

[But that is kinda harsh, all things considered.]

*Nice clear stable shot of Imogen, she has a hoop earring in one ear... and her Zephyr badge on the other. Then she throws the Gear off to Tailypo the Furret Cameramon. Her whole gang is in a small clearing taking a break.*

Yup, I'm doing this on my own... except I wanna borrow a Psychic type to talk over a thing I'm thinking of trying. But they won't be fighting, just helping me! I'll be sure to let you know when the Larvi-

*At the announcement of a Blastoise it quickly gets Brenn's attention. Granted, everything gets his attention. He comes on over and starts excitedly explaining his last adventure, a battle with a hiker and his rock Pokemon. Where he used the cliff face to right himself after he ended up on his back. It was very thrilling.*

...He also loves talking anything he's ever done.

[ usually a giant dragon looking beast would make Joonhee hesitate to approach but the whimper is just so sad... ]

Hopefully it won't come to that... [ for one she kinda big. for two it probably won't make the poor girl feel any better. ]

Is it because she's self conscious? [ screw it, he's coming in and kneeling down next to the whimpering dragon. ]

[Oh, so he's a spirited turtle, eh? Good. Zen can totally get behind that, and she lets out a throaty laugh in response, accompanied by a torrent of water from he cannons...

Which nails Flare on the back of the neck. Oops! Fortunately, it doesn't seem to really hurt the Charizard, who continues his tugging. Zen, in the mean time gives a thumbs-up. Yeah, rock types can't handle the awesome of a solid water move.

But seeing how Riku is still there, he'll step out in front of Zen for a moment and continue to speak.]

Well, if you want to rent a Psychic, I could probably set you up with Knight or Psych... or you could always grab an Abra outside Goldenrod.

[Le shrug.]

But is it safe to say your Aerodactyl's inherited all of Terror's aggression?

[He shakes his head, wandering up to her from behind.]

She's been beating herself up all because she's not the 'right' color. Probably doesn't help that she practically worships Flare.

Are there any other pokemon around that are coloured differently like she is? Maybe if she sees them and talks to them she'll feel a bit better...

[ Joonhee's keeping an eye on that flaming tail as he speaks. ]

*Brenn laughs a little, less hearty more awkward, at the Zard that got nailed, but gets board and wanders off. Imogen giving Omen a look, and he stalks off after the tortle.*

I was hoping to get one earlier, but your rates are a bit high... I'll figure something out. See... the psychic type is actually about Aglon.

She's mean, and shrieky, and tried to eat pretty much every one of my team that wasn't Omen and Joules... but...

When I play my ocarina she gets all quiet. I was hoping to have a Psychic type take a look at that. She doesn't follow commands worth anything and Brenn is still how I keep her in line, but there's... I dunno. It's weird.

Sora's got Mint-- a shiny Grovyle, and Sasuke's got a shiny Charmeleon, which she was until she evolved earlier.

[Mrrgh... Cinder's tail swishes. It doesn't matter! It's still not right...]

I know Mint has no qualms with her color, but Cinder's... pretty stubborn. I don't think she realizes just how special she really is or how cool she looks, for that matter.

[Cobra's call is pretty much just him laughing for a while. He'll stop eventually.

That's the most ridiculoussss thing I've ever sssseen! I have no idea how to help your Pokemon, nor would I tell you if I did, but I mussst thank you for providing quite the entertaining broadcast!

The prices are still a work in progress, honestly. I don't want to go too cheap since they are my Pokémon, but they're always subject to change. I'd thought about lowering the bottom tier to around 5k, anyway.

[Really, pricing stuff his hard. He just doesn't want people to exploit his 100's too easily.]

...But are you seriously saying music calms her down? Because, wow. I'd never even thought of that for Terror.

They both look cool. Cinderi is cool and Flare is cool, even if they look different from each other. [ he's obviously saying this for the distressed charizard's sake. it may not be as simple as telling her she looks good but nice words can't hurt, right? ]

Yeah, I know, which is why I guess this'll have to wait... I mean, I know your Pokemon are really cool and LV100, but I don't need it for it's stats, just for being able to talk giant stone dinosaur.

...Not exactly. She reacts to it, and it's a good reaction, but I don't know what it is. That's why I need the psychic type to help translate for me. I figure it can come up with something she'll understand. But the music does something and that's what makes this interesting.

The high price is mostly to keep people from exploiting their moves for breeding... But I could just offer a reduced rate for transport and other small things like communication. Maybe around P2500 - P5000.

[But he nods. Yes, that's how he got Psych.]

Hmm... Well, whatever it does, it sure sounds convenient. Maybe I can try something similar with Terror.

And I don't see what's wrong about standing out. If she was the normal cover, she'd just blend in with the other Charizards here, and people might not recognize her as easily.

I din't know Charizard could be colored black...

Yeah, whatever. Wasn't aiming for comedy, but it figures someone like you would get a laugh outta it.

[Good thing he left the room Cinder's in before responding. Cobra's laughter would only make the situation worse.]

Though, nyah, if I may... I would argue that your sssspectacurar method of ssssspeaking provides enough humor in its own right.

It's pretty rare, so I can't really blame you. Cinder's what they call a 'shiny' Pokémon, meaning that her color's different from the usual orange.

[It's said quietly in hopes that his silly 'zard doesn't catch on.]

That'd be more something I can afford, 3000 or so seems reasonable. I don't need to worry till I'm in town which will be the weekend I guess.
