Lightning and Hope are gone, which leaves us without leaders. That also cuts our numbers down to ten.

So, my question for your guys is "what next?" I don't think we should disband; just a quick look at the network will show that goons like Cobra are still at large. Still, we're gonna need some structural changes. New leaders, possibly new squads, and, more importantly, new members.

I guess I just want to know what you think. I don't know every one of you personally, but the PGC is supposed to be a team, so everyone should have a chance at giving feedback. I think if we sort out our strengths and weaknesses, that could help us with restructuring. It might be better to have multiple leaders so that if anyone disappears, there's people to fall back on. Maybe each squad can have one, beats me.

I'm gonna throw up an anonymous message in a sec to see about gathering newbies, though. If you've got friends you'd like to recommend, might as well bring them up now.

[Shortly after the PGC message pops up, a second message appears:]

What does this world mean to you? Do you think it's something worth protecting, or would you rather sit on the sidelines and watch it burn? This place is more than sunshine and Pokémon battles. If given the choice to make a difference, would you take it?

[He remembers Lightning doing something like this before. He'll just have to keep his fingers crossed that it works.]

I'm still up to continuing with the PGC. We need people to deal with Team Rocket, after all. I do have a recommendation as a member. Tenten is a very skilled trainer and she has a lot of strong Pokémon. She's been against Team Rocket before. Also we still have an information source within Team Rocket. I'm getting informed on what happens in the private network of the team, even though I'm no longer a member, since I have a strong ally by my side. So I can keep us informed on anything important happening.

Tenten, huh? I've spoken with her a few times, and she seemed all right. If you think she's up for it, then by all means, she can jump right in.

And since you've got a source, has anything interesting popped up lately? I remember seeing another anonymous attack recently, and then there's Cobra's usual "terrorism", but if anything else sticks out to you, I'd love to know. Maybe we could all swap notes, since right now we're all pretty spread out.

I'll ask her about it the next time we talk, if she doesn't contact you through the anon post. Well, apparently Cobra's been gathering volunteers to help him with something for a while. He's not going to be the only one attacking. I have no idea which places they're going to be targeting or who. Though if explosions are involved, I'd suspect Dr. Kato, since he got a TM for Explosion and that will only spell trouble. He's crazy. I can try making a list of things I know that might be useful. Though if you want to meet the one helping out, we're both currently in Celadon.

What've you got in mind?

There's a group dedicated to protecting this place. Our whole purpose is to fight off the forces of Team Rocket and anyone else who tries stirring up trouble.

We're looking for new members to breathe some life back into the corps. So, you interested?

[He takes a second to read over Ren's info. So Cobra is up to something big... That explains his recent posts. But if that's the case, don't they need to stay alert? Especially if there's an Explosion TM getting passed around.]

Do you know if the explosion TM Is reusable? If it is, then we're in serious trouble. A lot of Pokémon can learn explosion, and it'd be easy to fill a whole team with living bombs.

If you want to make a list, then by all means, go for it. Sora and I are in Celadon right now, so it shouldn't be too hard to touch base.

You nailed it. I'm talking about the Pokémon Guardian Corps.

As for Light, she's gone. Same with Hope-- that's why I'm trying to drum up interest for newbies. Ten members just isn't enough to take on Team Rocket as a whole.

Well, I don't know about everyone else, but before she left, Lightning gave Sora and I some knives made from Skarmory feathers. We've also got some decent blunt weaponry-- nothing that cuts, but a good hit to the head's all it takes to land someone with a concussion.

So, what about you? Got any tricks up your sleeve?

Those knives aren't going to do you all that much good. They'll blunt within a couple uses, even from just practice.

I'm a weapons specialist. A ninja, like he is. I'm pretty good at tactics and teamwork, too; I have 69 Pokémon, more than 50 of who are level 100.

Not sure it's so black and white... There are plenty of people here that sit on the sidelines and I'm not sure they'd want to see it burn. [ Of course, he's thinking of various NPCs... like mom. ]

I'm not so much interested in the Pokemon Battles anyway; I don't think I plan on collecting all the gym badges this time, so what is it you're offering?

That's the downside to this place. Wish there was a way to keep them sharp, but we've just gotta make do with what we've got.

But fifty level 100's... hah, you're a trainer after my own heart. With those kind of skills, how could we possibly turn you down?

Anyway, since Light's gone, do you want to be in Squad 1? That's where Ren's at, and he's the one who recommended you earlier.

How about stopping the Rockets in their tracks? Making them pay for all the damage they've caused. Does that sound good to you?

Yeah, I'd love to. I take it you're the leader now that Lightning's not here anymore?

Also, if we're talking about recommendations, I can think of a couple. Most of my comrades -- Naruto, Yondaime-sama, and Neji. Neji doesn't have much in the way of a strong team, though. Dave Strider and John Egbert both have really powerful Pokémon teams -- Dave has combat experience, too.

Sure, it's never that simple. Some people are just content to keep living their lives without worrying about threats; it doesn't mean they're in favor of the attacks, but I'm proposing something bigger than that.

We're talking a group effort to fight back and keep this world safe.

For now, anyway. I was thinking we could get a few leaders, that way if one of us leaves, there's someone else to carry us along. Building some kind of... group council or something will take the pressure off any one member. Plus, we've all got different skill sets, so having designated tacticians would go a long way.

I'm friends with John, so I'll see what I can do about getting in touch. As for the others, feel free to point them this way. The bigger our numbers, the better the odds, if you ask me.

So what kind of missions do you have in mind? Sabotage? Assassination's kind of a moot point in this place...

I don't know much about that, just that I have a lot of people that I care for here. Some of those people made this place feel a lot like home to me when I was alone, so...if there was some way to help, I'd do it.

Sabotage's good. I'd say recon, too, since we'll need intel to make our next moves. Luckily, Ren's got a friend who can give us inside info from the Rockets. That'll make our jobs a bit easier.

Seeing how there was a news broadcast today, I think it'll be important for us to do some investigation. Talk to the locals, inspect the scenes of the attacks... these are all just ideas, of course. As far as I can tell, most squads are kind of spread out right now, so sometime soon, we may want to arrange a meeting.

You're a tactician, so I'm happy to hear more suggestions, too. I'm not a soldier like Lightning, so I know I'm not the ultimate authority here.
